Bubble Drivers: R
I don't know, arr matey?
No new updates on my mom. I still need to have a nurse file a report stating what modifications need to be done to the house for her to come home and who knows when that’ll happen, and I’ve got a warning from my mom’s homeowner insurance company about my roof. I was so unprepared for homeownership and I never really wanted a house in the first place, so I’m honestly building up a bit of a Zen state towards the idea of losing it after her death. I just need to get out of default so someone will rent to me by the time that happens. And I need to focus on finishing more work faster, but I end up distracting myself by visiting Mom (which I insist on doing three times a week, even if her roommate doesn’t want me there) and with this project. I had all these drivers done a few days ago, but this weekend, I went way overboard and fixed all the errors on my master driver list by entering all the European Touring Car Championship and Japanese Touring Car Championship class winners, because I had a lot of those missing. I’m going to do the Belgian Touring Car Championship next because I want to get that done before I get around to one of its champions Jean Xhenceval, who I honestly want to list just to have a driver from every single letter of the alphabet. That’s not a good enough reason to list someone, but I think he probably deserves it too. I also made a list of what day every racing series ends this year so I can continue updating my master driver list based on this year’s results as each series ends, and there were some biggies this weekend as all the IMSA series and the GT World Challenge Endurance Cup had their final races and those were pretty time-consuming as well. I’m kind of gobsmacked that Louis Prette and Adam Smalley managed to win the finale in a Gold Cup Pro-Am entry because it marked the first time a Pro-Am team beat the professionals. I’ve thought about listing Smalley each of the last two years and I’m going to think about it this time too, but from everything I’m reading, Prette was the team leader so I’m more likely to do that.
